If you want to experience and feel the fireworks and see the spectacular ground effects at their best, there is a
special viewing area reserved on the east side of Porter Road for
VIP Viewing Pass holders. These VIP
Viewing Passes can be purchased in advance in person or via telephone beginning mid-May at the Bryce Jordan
Center’s ticket office. Please check
www.bjc.psu.edu/tickets for
window and telephone hours.
There is no supplied seating so bring your own lawn chairs or blankets and don’t forget to bring a radio to tune
into 93.7 The Bus to hear the music for the choreographed fireworks show.
VIP Tickets can also be purchase the day of the event at the Bryce Jordan Center’s ticket office from 4:00 PM
until 6:00 PM. Individual VIP viewing tickets ($25) and VIP Parking passes ($20) will be available for sale. A
special 2x2 package of two VIP viewing and one VIP parking will be available for $65. A 4x4 package of four VIP
viewing tickets and one VIP parking pass will be on sale for $100. Children 4 and under accompanied by an adult
with a VIP Viewing pass may enter the Viewing area for free.
The VIP Viewing area will be opening at 5:00PM .The entrance to the VIP Viewing area is through the upper (south)
portions of the VIP C Parking lot. If coming from the Bryce Jordon Center area follow the signs from the Joe Paterno
statue on Porter Road.
We advise against bringing pets into the VIP Viewing area as the close proximity to the fireworks may bring
discomfort to the pet and a distraction to other attendees. It has been recommended that ear protection be provided
for infants and very young children.
