Firecracker 4K Race | 4thFest Celebration | Entertainment | Fireworks

We've got lots of great activities planned for the day! Start off by joining us in the Firecracker 4K race, then come back for all the activities in the afternoon. Starting at 2 PM, there is music in three venues, various activities in the Towne Square area, activities for children and teens, and a Civil War living history. After the fireworks, stick around for our Street Dance! Why fight the traffic?

Here are all the events happening on the stages. There are also lots of activities happening elsewhere.

The White stage is located in the Stadium West parking lot, the Blue Stage is located just South of the Founder's Mall, and the Towne Square is located in the handicapped lot across from the Sports Museum.

A Day Awaits will entertain crowds of all ages with their modern Christian rock blended with new renditions of traditional tunes. 4:00 PM Towne Square Stage
CHoSen is a Christian rock band with a classic rock feel, influenced by Third Day, Clapton, and Skynryd. They are releasing their debut CD shortly. 4:00 PM White Stage
Dime Store Cowboys provides you Country music with a twist! 5:00 PM Blue Stage
Chris Lee, a decendent of Richard Henry Lee will be reading us the Declaration of Independence 9:00 PM Blue Stage
Free Jazz in Spirit, and funk soul in fact, Dirty Superb's mission is to mesmerize with rhythm and renew with original groove. They will be sharing the stage with Gina Riggio. 2:00 PM White Stage
Family Brew brings you folk rock and country with a heavy hand in audience participation! 8:00 PM Towne Square Stage
Fat Girl Slim brings you a rousing mixture of classic rock and today's country! You've seen them at past 4th Fest Performances as Body and Soul and as AC Express. 8:00 PM White Stage
Chris Good has been playing guitar for 9 years and singing even longer. He's a senior at State College High and has been in many talent shows and Battle of the Bands along with The Arts Fest the last two years. 3:00 PM Blue Stage
The Hounds of Soul performs soul, funk, and Motown, with music that moves you! 3:00 PM White Stage
Keenaband, featuring Keena Corbett, brings you modern country, bluegrass, and originals! All of these band members are seasoned 4th Fest performers. 6:00 PM Towne Square Stage
Ricky Lee and the Mustangs join us as part of their American Freedom tour. Ricky Lee keeps you clapping your hands, waving your flag, and standing shouting out your love of Country and those who defend it. 5:00 PM White Stage
Mark and Sherri is a duo of local musicians. Mark Johnson blends pop, country, and smoky jazz standards into rootsy singer-songwriter originals that tell a familiar story set against a backdrop of vocal harmonies and a 12-string guitar. 6:00 PM Blue Stage
Joe Quick provides a mix of Country, Rock, Classic Rock, Alternative and Oldies sure to entertain even the most diverse crowd! 4:00 PM Blue Stage
Midnight Cabal brings us old time blues highlighted by stellar blues harmonica. 2:00 PM Blue Stage
As a singer, composer, and pianist, Gina Riggio's just released CD Ultraviolet Catastrophe's review by the CDT says: Riggio tackles light-hearted piano jams with clever hints of jazz pop. Gina shares the stage with Dirty Superb. 2:00 PM White Stage
Graham Spanier returns to the Towne Square venue to entertain us with his magic. His shows are always entertaining, and he is enthusiastically assisted by members of the audience! 7:00 PM Towne Square
The State College Area Municipal Band is a staple of the 4th Fest Celebration - with their blend of pops, patriotic music and rousing marches! 7:00 PM White Stage
Bob Timney plays originals and covers and is the co-MC for "Home Grown with Mo and Bob" at the Brewery. 7:00 PM Blue Stage
The Tir Na Nog School of Irish Dance returns to the 4th Fest for the fourth time with some Irish Dancing. 5:00 PM Towne Square
The Cliff Turner R & B Soul Revue has a music style that is a combination of the 60's and 70's era, including R & B, Soul, Funk, and Classic Rock 6:00 PM White Stage
Two of a Kind delights audiences of all ages with their music, good humor,and audience participation 3:00 PM Towne Square
Tommy Wareham has been voted the number 1 entertainer by the State College Magazine for 5 years in a row. 8:00 PM Blue Stage
