Our seventh annual family friendly 4K Race is the perfect way to kick off your July 4th festivities! The race begins at 9am on Friday, July 4th and follows a route across the Penn State campus. It will start near Beaver Stadium and proceed through the campus ending near East Halls (route subject to change due to possible construction projects). Both runners and walkers are encouraged to participate. A digital timing system will be used to determine the winners in 8 different age groups. Prizes will be awarded in all age categories plus overall top male and female participants. Numerous local business and health practitioners sponsor the event. There will be plenty of healthy refreshments for all participants.
2008 Firecracker 4K t-shirts are guaranteed for all pre-registered participants.
